My wife and I bought our house this past summer and Raffaela was a HUGE help in making this happen. In the beginning I feel like we were all over the place wanting to look at houses in several different towns, multiple school districts, different types of houses, etc. Raffaela was able to get us to focus on the key things that we were looking for in our future home and made them a priority when seeking out appropriate opportunities for us. Once we narrowed our search to the town (Syosset and Plainview) and type of home (split) we really wanted it made the search much easier. Furthermore, at every house we looked at she always noticed things that we weren't paying attention to like the location from the highway or if the house was zoned for a different school district. Once we found our house she was able to negotiate the seller down 5% from the asking price which we would not have been able to afford the house otherwise. Her knowledge of the process and responsiveness was invaluable once we went to contract as she let us know what to expect and was extremely helpful in moving the process along without having to involve the lawyers. After the appraisal we needed bar guards removed from the basement windows as well as some documentation from the town and she was able to work with the other broker and seller of the home to have this done as to not hold up the closing. The biggest compliment I could give Raffaela is by the end of our search she felt more like a close friend or family member than our broker, I highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
